The “W” mint mark—a rare sight. On every coin, the “W” mint mark indicates it was proudly struck at the Royal Canadian Mint’s Winnipeg facility. As the only “W” mint mark set in 2026, this is their way of “marking” a milestone for the facility that has produced Canada’s coinage since 1976.
